WhatsApp is the most popular messaging application in the world. This app changed our communication and relationships and in 2014 Mark Zuckerberg saw its potential and decided to buy it, adding WhatsApp to one of Meta’s apps.
WhatsApp is constantly updated, so we always see new features and improvements in the app. However, few people know all the tools that the application offers. In this note we tell you three tricks you should know to get the most out of WhatsApp.

1- Use WhatsApp on your computer:
The version of WhatsApp on the computer is known as WhatsApp web is very useful to use while working on your computer and answer WhatsApp messages without having to pick up your phone.

If you don’t already have WhatsApp on your PC you can download it at To use WhatsApp on your computer, you must open WhatsApp on your phone, then go to the menu or settings and select ‘Linked devices’. When the camera is activated you must scan the QR that you will see on WhatsApp Web and your account will open on your computer.

2- Quote someone
The quote someone function has only been on WhatsApp for a short time. This feature allows you to reply to a specific message either in an individual or group chat.To quote someone in a WhatsApp chat you must select the message you want to reply to and tap the arrow icon pointing to the left.

3- Save data
Using this feature will ensure that your data consumption is kept to a minimum and you can easily avoid any unexpected data charges.
To save data on WhatsApp you need to go to ‘Settings’ and then select ‘Data usage’. There you will have the option to adjust the duration and limit of your data plan or disable background data completely.
If you want to completely disable data, you must turn off the switch next to ‘Background data’ or uncheck the box that says ‘Use Wi-Fi only when available’.
