These are all the ad types that you can post on the TikTok advertising platform and its family of apps. Not all ad types are available in all territories. TikTok ad specifications for all formats can be found later in this post.
These are self-service ads that you can create yourself using the TikTok Ads Manager interface.
These only work in TikTok’s news apps (BuzzVideo, TopBuzz, and Babe). They include an image, the name of the brand or app, and the ad text.
Video ads are available for TikTok or the TikTok family of messaging apps. They appear as full screen videos between 5 and 60 seconds in the user’s “For You” feed. Each ad includes a video, teaser image, app brand or name, and ad text.
Spark ads allow your brand to leverage organic content from your own account or from other users. Research from TikTok shows that Spark ads have a 24% higher completion rate and a 142% higher engagement rate than standard feed ads.
Ads that are served through the TikTok Audience Network.
These are served only in TikTok News Feed applications and contain up to 10 unique images with captions per ad.
